He holds an MBA and accumulated 17 years of corporate experience across India and Africa before transitioning to the social sector following the onset of his visual disability.
Rajive’s contributions to policy and legal frameworks are significant. He co-edited a comprehensive compendium on Disability and the Law, scripted educational documentaries, and represented disability rights at both national and international forums. His expertise was recognized when he was nominated by the Government of India to draft new disability laws, contributing to legislative reforms that benefit millions.
His leadership extended internationally when he served as Asia Pacific Head of Disability Rights Promotion International, bringing global perspectives and best practices to the Indian context.
In 2016, Rajive received the prestigious ‘Limca Book of Records Person of the Year’ award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to disability rights and social change.
