Urooj Fatima brings strong academic credentials and passionate commitment to social justice to her role as Helpdesk Officer at Score Foundation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Human Rights from Jamia Millia Islamia, providing her with a deep understanding of rights-based approaches to disability advocacy.
Prior to joining Score Foundation, Urooj completed a two-year fellowship with Teach for India, where she worked in a Delhi government school. During this fellowship, she focused on enriching children’s lives through quality education and mentorship, developing skills in guidance and support that directly translate to her current role.
As Helpdesk Officer, Urooj manages a team of six counselors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure effective assistance and support for Score Foundation’s beneficiaries. Her management skills, combined with her educational background in human rights, enable her to oversee the helpdesk operations with both efficiency and empathy.
