About Score Foundation:
Score Foundation is a registered non-profit trust set up in 2002 to work with Persons with Blindness
and Vision Impairment. Score Foundation believes that blindness is not the real problem; rather, it is
the mindset. Individuals who are blind are potentially part of the country’s human resource and
should be invested in. We aim to inform, inspire, and empower all persons with blindness and vision
impairment.

Score Foundation, through Project Eyeway, disseminates information, connects people in need with
resources, advocates for individuals facing discrimination, and actively engages with sighted
stakeholders through sensitization sessions. We disseminate information through various channels,
including radio, television, workshops, awareness sessions, and social media.


We are expanding our outreach efforts with the launch of “Roshani ka Karwan, Samaveshan ki
Aur”—a caravan of light towards inclusion. With this outreach programme we aim to reach out to
blind and visually impaired people in different regions of India with the objective of connecting with
them, sharing information, and enhancing their skills in selected areas. To reach out and build
relationships with local NGOs, government departments, and prominent personalities with the
objective of creating a robust network for advocacy, referrals, and raising awareness and sensitization
at the grassroots level. To connect blind and visually impaired people and different stakeholders to
the Eyeway knowledge resource. The journey will be documented, focusing on key issues identified in
each region to share solutions that can help the community.


Key Responsibilities:


Campaign Planning: Develop and execute outreach campaigns for blind and visually impaired
community across selected regions in India.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local NGOs, government
officials, and community leaders to create a network for advocacy and resource sharing.
Operational Management: Ensure the effective operational execution of outreach initiatives and on-
the-ground activities.
Monitoring & Documentation: Oversee the planning, monitoring, and documentation of outreach
activities, including the filming and documentation of the outreach journey.

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. 3-4 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or a related field.
  3. Strong planning and organizational skills with a focus on detail.
  4. Willingness to travel as required.
  5. Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
  6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Empathy and sensitivity towards individuals with disabilities.

Salary:
Compensation will be based on experience and aligned with market standards in the development
sector.
